  1. Great website!
I wish I lived in London - I'm a New Yorker - so that I might have seen your production of "Cloud 9." My recollection of Tommy Tune's NYC staging bac k in 1981is that Churchill's play was one of the best, most revelatory, integrative and transformational pieces of theatre I've ever experienced. I would like to encounter this play again after the 28 intervening years of my life as an adult.

  2. Cloud Nine
Fandango's new play Cloud Nine is every bit as impressive as Blue Remembered Hills. Take a Victorian sense of duty, add a splash of masturbation, a touch of fancying your hubbie's best mate and a good dose of being happy to be gay. Do you really feel guilty or is that just what you thought you should feel?

  3. I loved your interpretation of Cloude Nine at the Union Theatre, it was great! I took a photo and I posted on facebook. If you send me your email al poste it to you as well, is quite good I think.

  4. Loved Cloud 9, most certainly the best thing I have seen in a long time, brilliant story played by fantastic actors. Hope to see it again before it closes!

  5. Thoroughly enjoyable show. Well directed, truthfully acted and the casting was spot on. Good theatre should trigger an emotional response and connection from the audience and it is sadly lacking in much of what's been on offer lately, even in the West End. However, this production managed to deliver on several levels and was totally believable too Well done to all involved and I look forward to seeing the companys' next show.

  6. Really enjoyed the play, felt immersed in the countryside and the nostalgia of a remembered time, the acting was very convincing and brought the 'lord of the flies' cruelty of children's behaviour vividly to life.

  7. How to play a child convincingly when you're a grown-up actor? Its a tricky job but the cast did it with such style and subtlety. Well done Fandango! I saw the play twice and the second time round there were even more layers to explore. They made it come alive so people in the audience were asking themselves - which character was I like as a child? And which child am I most like now?

  9. I saw 'Blue Remembered Hills' during its run at the Union Theatre, and I thought it was absolutely brilliant. I can’t remember when I have enjoyed a show as much and thought it unthinkable not to express my very high regard for it.

  10. This company I hoep will go far. A wonderfully intimate performance with a fabulous ensemble cast. I had seen a TV version of this Potter play and been irrated beyond measure, but this production intelligently and effectively delivers the adults playing children device to give funny, entertaining and ulitmately moving drama. Bravo.

  11. Fabulous play, extremely well acted. Real and believable. Wonderful theatre with a great atmosphere. The director was fantastic, leaving (very useful) resource packs for the students in our party and taking the time to seek us out and chat. Will definitely be on the look out for future productions. Our party was very mixed with 1 12 year old, 3 mid teens and 2 mums but we ALL enjoyed the evening. Thanks and very well done to all.

  12. Wonderful play wonderfully executed... I have to admit as a woman from the heart of the Westcountry I was nervous about how well the actors would handle the accents but they did so flawlessly.
    Loved it.
